how far can I trust a browser that “incurages” me to upgrade?

yeah. I think it’s time to say goodbye to Swiftweasel. But, what are my other options? Go back to Swiftfox? Or just regular Firefox? Or something entirely different? I need my extensions, so I guess that rules out anything not based on Firefox. As far as I remember, Swiftfox was buggier but Firefox had much longer load times/ higher memory usage. Level of bug cannot compare to this shit, though. ARTIFACTS EVERYWHERE. Makes pages unreadable.

okay, so here we go. I’m installing Swiftfox for now. Wish me luck >_>

Swiftfox plugins stop working after upgrade

It’s a broken symlink to the Mozilla plugins! Something like this should fix it for you:

sudo rm /usr/lib/swiftfox/plugins
sudo ln -T /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins /usr/lib/swiftfox/plugins --symbolic

This seems to happen at every upgrade of Swiftfox it seems, so for now just keep replacing the symlink manually until they get the situation fixed themselves.
